Over the course of three days, HPCSL The Thar Dry Port organized an in-house First Aid Training event in collaboration with The Indian Red Cross Society. The event provided comprehensive training in essential life-saving skills. Thar employees engaged in sessions covering foundational principles such as primary assessments, advanced techniques including CPR for adults, children, and infants, as well as specialized care for medical and environmental emergencies. Through practical simulations and IRCS expert-led instruction, attendees from Thar gained confidence in responding effectively to critical situations. They left the event certified and equipped with crucial knowledge to promote safety and well-being in their communities and workplace.

The theme for 2024 is " Clean & Greener ICD ," focusing on GREENER ecosystem restoration .Day started with massive “Tree Planting Campaign “ done all across the ICD boundary which was done by all Departments where participants receive free saplings and also were instructed how to take care .
