Professional Experience

• Started my career with Lohia Machines Limited, Kanpur -1980 as a Management trainee.

• Joined Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited Veraval (GHCL) as Manager (Commercial) in the year 1981 and was rose to the position of SR General Manager (Commercial) with responsibilities of both purchase and logistics function and was transferred to the Head Office at Delhi.

• Left GHCL in 2003 and joined the Indo Rama Group of Companies Thailand as General Manager (Commercial) to set up a green field 800,000 MT PTA plant at a cost of approximately one billion Dollars in Thailand in 2004
• Rejoined GHCL at Ahmedabad as Vice president(Commercial) in 2009
• Superannuated in 2014 from GHCL and joined The Thar Dry port as Executive Vice president –Operations since 2015

Apart from Industry experience both in India and Abroad have also been an active member of many Industry forums such as CII, and FICCI in New Delhi, and have participated with Industry groups on several matters related to projects, excise, customs and Indirect Taxes and Human Resources.

I am fond of reading and play golf and Bridge. Represented my college in the inter Bridge tournament in Delhi.
