Mr. Ruchir Parekh is the Managing Director & CEO of the HPCSL Group. Mr. Parekh’s unwavering commitment and his passion and desire to work round the clock to take the business to unprecedented heights through a benchmark for excellence in International & Domestic Logistic business is the primary reason behind HPCSL Group’s rapid growth over the years. Mr. Parekh’s exceptional expertise and intricate knowledge of the logistics business has transformed our ICD’s into a ‘One Stop Logistic Solution Provider’ for all EXIM fraternity members including CHA /Freight Forwarders, Importers, Exporters etc.

Mr. Parekh graduated from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai and hold a Master’s degree in Hotel Management from Les Roches Hotel Management School, Switzerland and also underwent corporate training in the US.

Mr. Parekh’s exceptional leadership and commitment to serve the Customers are rapidly revolutionising the services that we offer at Thar Dry Port, a Unit of Hasti Petro Chemical & Shipping Limited (HPCSL) resulting in the combined volumes of EXIM trade both at Jodhpur and Sanand in excess of One Lakh TEU’s per year.

Mr. Arvind Surana, Chief Financial Officer of the company.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant having  more than 22 years of rich  experience in the diversified industries , Handicraft export/Import , Leather Garment, Hotel Industry , Real State , Hospitals, Liquor ,  in the field of Project financing, Finance & Accounts , Direct Taxation , Indirect Taxation, Company law , Forex Management etc.

• Mr Mukesh Shah , 66 years of age , an LLB qualified veteran has over 4 decades of experience in generating business in supply chain and logistics , in areas of exports , warehousing , C& F agents and has been active with all industry associations like CII, FICCI ,EXIM , and local bodies like GCCI. He has being instrumental with the past employers of increasing the exports as well as adopting the best practices in supply chain to reduce the costs as well as to maintain the demand and supply of the commodities may it be Engineering , Plastics, Agriculture , both in Domestic and International Markets.

Owing to his vast depth of our Industry in generating business , has good liasioning and relations with all patrons of EXIM trade , which augurs well for HPCSL flagship for various Business Verticals and thus is working as Director (Sales & Marketing ) for ICD Business since 2009 , with us.

Professional Experience

• Started my career with Lohia Machines Limited, Kanpur -1980 as a Management trainee.

• Joined Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited Veraval (GHCL) as Manager (Commercial) in the year 1981 and was rose to the position of SR General Manager (Commercial) with responsibilities of both purchase and logistics function and was transferred to the Head Office at Delhi.

• Left GHCL in 2003 and joined the Indo Rama Group of Companies Thailand as General Manager (Commercial) to set up a green field 800,000 MT PTA plant at a cost of approximately one billion Dollars in Thailand in 2004
• Rejoined GHCL at Ahmedabad as Vice president(Commercial) in 2009
• Superannuated in 2014 from GHCL and joined The Thar Dry port as Executive Vice president –Operations since 2015

Apart from Industry experience both in India and Abroad have also been an active member of many Industry forums such as CII, and FICCI in New Delhi, and have participated with Industry groups on several matters related to projects, excise, customs and Indirect Taxes and Human Resources.

I am fond of reading and play golf and Bridge. Represented my college in the inter Bridge tournament in Delhi.

Girish Acharya joined HPCSL in March 2013 as Assistant Vice President – Sales & Marketing. He brings over 29   years of broad  experience in the Operation / Marketing International & Pan India / Documentation / Business Process Management /  Government Liaison   in  Shipping Line, Freight Forwarding, Custom House Agent,  Multimodal Logistics by Sea – Air – Road – Rail , Warehousing & Distribution, Port (Container Terminal), CFS,  ICD – Rail Operation,  Container Train Operator, EXIM & Domestic Cargo Movement by Rail, Export/Import, Forex, JDGFT.

Prior to joining HPCSL he worked with LCL Logistix (India) Pvt LTD, Chinubhai Kalidass & Bross.,  Shree Alloys Private Limited, Adani Logistics Ltd  (Kishangarh – Patli – Mundra) in various capacity on Pan India Basis contributing to overall  Organisational Development / Strategic Planning / Team Building  / Management Core Team Member / Key Account Manager.

Specialized in providing Door to Door Tailor Made  Supply Chain &  Project  Management in Engineering  (ODC/Containerised), EPC, Solar ,  Oil & Gas (Cairn India – Vedanta) / Chemical & General Cargo, LCL / FCL/ Break bulk  Cargo in Export / Import / Domestic movement by Rail / Road.

Girish has a Bachelor’s Degree in  Chemistry, Geology and Biology, MBA – International Marketing and studied till 12^th in Pune. He started his career as Executive – Export Documentation in an Export Firm. He provides lectures in Seminars, Educational Institutions and Industries in Logistics / Export / Import process.

Naresh N Prajapati – A journey from a truck driver to director. He has more than 25 years of hard-core experience in the transportation field. Associated with HPCSL since last 11 years and looking after legal & liaison, purchase and machinery maintenance related matters.
